Our Mission is to save the workers from workplace Illnesses
The objective of this program is to mitigate the adverse health effects on workers in the small industries caused by unsafe/unhealthy working environment and to save workers from the occupational accidents and diseases in under develop countries.
Million occupational accidents occur annually and hundreds of millions of workers suffer from workplace accidents and occupational exposure to hazardous substances worldwide. The International Labour Organization (ILO) reports about two millions yearly occupational fatalities and about 160 million yearly word wide workers suffered from occupational diseases. There are numerous incidents that are not reported and do not reflects in the ILO statistics. Even due to illiteracy and lack of worker trainings, the worker himself is unaware of his work related injuries.
We want to achieve the goal through providing awareness of workplace risk and educate the worker to protect themselves from workplace hazards.
Make the world a safer place by contributing today.
SWAN is a not-for-profit organization, established to provide workplace safety awareness training to the young workers in Canada and to create awareness of work place hazards and provide training to workers in underdeveloped countries particularly south Asian Region.

The medical facilities are essential to treat the sick people but it would be more beneficial and economical to protect the people from sickness. Our target population is the worker, because directly or indirectly everyone is a worker and is exposed to workplaces hazards.
SWAN has the goal to engage volunteers from the same working environments for improving workplace safety and mitigating the workplace hazards.
