SWAN is a not-for-profit organization, established to provide workplace safety awareness training to the young workers in Canada and to create awareness of work place hazards and provide training to workers in underdeveloped countries particularly south Asian Region.
Our Slogan is “Prevention is better than Cure.”
The medical facilities are essential to treat the sick people but it would be more beneficial and economical to protect the people from sickness. Our target population is the worker, because directly or indirectly everyone is a worker and is exposed to workplaces hazards.
SWAN has the goal to engage volunteers from the same working environments for improving workplace safety and mitigating the workplace hazards.
